Twilight of the Gods is a German strategy board game created by Axel Köhler and Jens Drögemüller, set in a fantastical world where up to four players take the role of a dying god vying for dominion over an alternate reality world. The objective in the game is to lead your followers through a living and changing world, take control of fortifications, conquer other gods' temples, and to ultimately become the most powerful god. The game is played over four rounds on a 4x4 board and is further divided into two phases. The first phase of the game consists of the gods placing their followers and oracles on the board in an attempt to control different areas of the world. The second phase involves the gods directly attacking each other in an attempt to win control over their respective temples. The game ends when one god has control of all four temples, is declared the winner and crowned as the new god of twilight.
