Description
The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Dreadful in Me is an upcoming interactive horror video game developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is a part of the Dark Pictures Anthology series and is the second installment in the anthology. Players take control of four characters in a story set on the abandoned Atlantic island of Blackwood.
The game revolves around a group of four friends who have come to the island following a tragedy that occurred on the mainland. As they investigate the island, they discover a dark sinister force that is slowly drawing them deeper and deeper into its depths. Players must use their wits, stealth and courage to navigate the island and survive the horrors that await them. The game is played primarily through a choose-your-own-adventure type of gameplay, where each choice the player makes affects both the story and the fate of their characters.
The game is set to feature a branching story and multiple endings, as well as extensive character customization options. Players will be able to modify the facial features, clothing, hairstyle and makeup of each character, as well as upgrade their weapons and build new ones. Players will also be able to unlock alternate endings and new locations to explore. The game also features a co-op mode, where up to four players can team up to explore the island and uncover its secrets.
