Description

RINA RhythmERROR is a Japanese rhythm video game developed by Kogado Studio and published by D3 Publisher for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2010. Players control characters representing different occupations as they try to overcome problems and rescue the world. The game is set to a popular J-Pop, anime, and video game music soundtrack.

When playing, the player’s job is to tap buttons or move the analog sticks accurately in accordance with the rhythm of the background music. A health bar is visible at the bottom of the screen that rapidly decreases if the player misses notes or removes the joystick or buttons too late or too early. When the player reaches zero health, the game is over. The game also has featuring worlds and characters that can be unlocked by clearing the main course.

Throughout the game, the player is able to choose from a variety of different missions. These range from evacuating civilians to destroying enemies in an action-based rhythm game. To complete these missions, the player must time their button presses and analog stick movements to the beat of the background music. As the player progresses, they are able to upgrade their characters’ skills, unlock new characters and music, and upgrade their armors.

The game’s graphics are stylized and feature characters in 3D modeled after classic anime characters. The game also uses classic art from series such as Macross and Gundam. To add to the visual excitement, the game utilizes a variety of lighting effects and explosions, which are even more impressive during the frantic battles.
