Pixel Piracy Shrimp Legacy is a retro-style game developed by Quadro Delta, an independent game studio based out of Vancouver, Canada. The game was released to Steam on October 23rd, 2016.

Pixel Piracy puts players in charge of a crew of pixelated pirates. Players must equip, captain and customize a ship before recruiting crew members, purchasing items and sailing off to distant seas. The game itself is procedurally generated and randomized, with different crew members, items and environments encountered each play session. Enemies encountered can range from simple sea creatures to giant ships of war with powerful cannons.

Players are able to customize their ships, down to the details like sails and figureheads, as well as equipment and gear for their pirates. They can also play in Shrimp Legacy mode, which includes a story to follow and boss missions to complete. Players will also be able to tackle harsh weather, face off against enemies and seek out treasures that can increase the power and wealth of their pirate fleet. Players are rewarded with points for successful missions and achievements, allowing them to level up and unlock new content.
