Description
Out of Bounds is a classic drinking game involving hidden objects, deception, and don’t forget the alcohol! All players are typically divided into two teams, and each team is randomly assigned an “out” or “in” status. The game is designed for an odd number of players, so a referee is normally needed to decide which team is out.
Once teams are assigned, the game begins. The team that is declared “out” must leave the game area, known as the out-of-bounds zone. They hide an object that must be found by the “in” team. In addition, the “out” team disguises their presence by signaling with a whistle or making loud noises. It’s up to the “in” team to find the object and return it to the game area without giving away their position.
At the same time, the “in” team must try to stay within the game area for as long as possible without getting caught by the “out” team. However, a point is awarded to the “out” team if a member from the “in” team is spotted and tagged. The game is usually played until the “out” team tags everyone from the “in” team, or until the “in” team finds the hidden object.
