Description

Northgard is a real-time strategy game developed by independent French studio Shiro Games. The game is set in a medieval-inspired Viking world where players take control of a settlement of Vikings as they strive for dominance in an unforgiving land.

Players must explore a procedurally-generated map to find resources, build up their settlement, and expand their influence. They must also battle against rival clans, defend their territory from wild creatures, and manage their resources wisely. There are five unique Viking clans to choose from, each with its own playstyle and unique mechanics.

The game features a basic resource system of food, wood, and gold, which are used to build up your settlement, train up Viking warriors, and construct powerful defenses. There is also a more complex system of runes and favor, which must be balanced carefully in order to achieve your objectives.
