Description
Monster Outbreak is a fun and exciting action game for all ages. Developed by Bearded Kiwi, the game puts players in control of a hunter named Jane, who is tasked with clearing a series of levels from hordes of monstrous creatures. The game’s primary objective is to eliminate the monsters in each level before the allotted time is up. The player is aided by a variety of weapons and power-ups, such as bombs, guns and energy bursts, that can be used to deal damage to the monsters and to knock them back. Additional obstacles such as walls, pits and exploding barrels are also scattered about to further challenge the player’s progress.
The game offers a unique twist to traditional tower defense games by implementing puzzle elements and online leaderboards that allow players to compete against each other in timed battles. There are two main modes of play consisting of Story Mode and Rage Mode. Story Mode follows Jane’s journey as she investigates and eliminates monster infestations while Rage Mode pits the players against not only time but also against one-another in an attempt to see who can survive the most waves of monsters.
