Monorail Stories is a video game developed by independent studio Team Hypercube. Set in a dreamy post-apocalyptic world, you take the role of a station keeper and guide the mysterious automaton passengers on their journey around the system. You’ll explore the stories of these passengers as they move along the tracks, while at the same time ensuring the safe transport of your passengers and the system itself. The game takes place in a vibrant pixel art world with a variety of color palettes and environments. You’ll have the opportunity to construct the railway yourself, with a variety of platforms, turnarounds, and special tracks that can be used to customize the track network. The game relies on strategic planning to ensure the timely and efficient travel of passengers, as well as rewarding problem-solving as you manage the construction of the tracks. In Monorail Stories, you can wander around the unique post-apocalyptic environment and meet the travelers as they embark on their journey along the rails. You can then hop on one of the trains and explore the many locations. Between each stop you will have upgrades and customization options available, and will be able to purchase new items and upgrades to customize your station. The Monorail Stories game requires a good understanding of the game mechanics and has a high replay value with its randomly generated passengers, tracks and routes. It also rewards players for their effective problem-solving and perseverance as they build and manage a unique rail network.
