Kardboard KCS Simulator Card Game Island is an interactive, fast-paced card game designed for players of all ages. Players compete to build an island out of cards by strategically arranging facing edges of their cards that contain various landscape elements from Beach, Lake, Prairie and Mountain. Players take turns building their islands, with the ultimate goal being to have the most island points at the end of the game. There are different strategies that players can employ to try to get the upper hand and win the game. For example, players can try to form the most bays, the longest string of islands, or the most variety of landforms in a specifically clever order.
The game is designed for two to four players. Players can play a variety of game lengths, from 1-2 hours for casual play, to an entire afternoon for experienced and competitive players. With 55 individual cards and landforms to choose from, players can customize their game to match their play style. There is also a scoring system in place to help children and adults alike keep track of the score, which makes it suitable for children aged 7 and up.
