Description

Island of the Dead is a classic horror Survival game developed by Exodus Studios in 1998. The game is based on a corporation that has set up a research facility on a remote island called Anierin. The facility houses a number of scientists who are working on a new type of virus, which is meant to help mankind cure a number of deadly diseases. Unfortunately, the virus has unexpected effects, causing the dead to rise up and haunt the facility. The player takes the role of a security officer who was sent to the island to investigate the strange occurrences. The player must survive the island’s many horrors, from hordes of the undead to more exotic horrors, as well as the betrayals of the island’s inhabitants. Along the way, the player must try to find a way off the island, as the military has quarantined the island to contain the virus. Island of the Dead packs intense supernatural horror with real-time strategy elements, making this a must-play for horror and strategy fans alike.
