Description
Falsepine is an indie survival horror game developed by Incendiary Games set in a forgotten island with a mysterious past. The players find themselves thrown into a world of the unknown, with no way of understanding why they are there or what the purpose of their journey is. As they explore the various locations across the island, they must interact with the locals, find items and clues, investigate the strange mysteries surrounding Falsepine, and survive the horrors that lurk around every corner.
The game is story-driven, though not necessarily linear. There are multiple possible endings, depending on the player’s decisions throughout the game. The players will have to use their wits and investigative skills to unravel the mysteries and find their way out of this strange land. As the players make their way through Falsepine, they will encounter a variety of enemies such as monsters and wild animals. Features
Falsepine is a two-player strategic abstract game played on a 9x9 board. The goal is to remove your opponent's pieces, while at the same time blocking all of their moves. Each player starts with 12 pieces in the first row, and pieces move either vertically or horizontally up to two spaces at a time. Additionally, pieces may jump over up to two adjacent pieces of the same color. Capture occurs when a piece makes a jump and lands two spaces away, and all pieces between the original start space and the end space are removed. The game ends when either all of one player's pieces have been captured or all of that player's pieces have been blocked so that no moves may be made.Screenshot
