Description
Clunky Hero is an arcade-style, top-down arcade shooter from developer Jonathan Whiting. The game plays out as a fast-paced, action-packed 2D shooter with an 8-bit visual style.
Players take control of a heroic, clunky robot in a mission to defeat the evil robots that are attacking his home planet. The game allows for both single-player and cooperative play, and features plenty of different weapons to equip and powerful boss battles.
Throughout the game, players must armor up, upgrade their firepower, and battle increasingly difficult robot enemies while exploring various levels. Different levels also offer unique challenges and puzzles, encouraging players to think strategically and use their skills. As the player progresses, they will gain access to various upgrades and special abilities to help them survive, such as the ability to fire mid-air shots and dash to enemies.
