Call to Arms: Gates of Hell – Scorched Earth is a real-time, strategy game created by Digitalmindsoft. The game takes place in an alternate version of 1940 where World War II never happened, but instead a new war with an alien race has broken out. The main objective of the player is to protect Earth’s natural resources while also commanding an army to fight against the alien forces. The game is set in an isometric view and players can select from two different types of game modes: Campaign and Skirmish.

In Campaign mode, the player defends their country from the aliens by engaging in different types of operations. These operations range from defense missions to assaulting enemy units, and must be completed successfully to progress and complete the game. During missions, players can deploy troops, build and upgrade bases, fortify resources, and capture strategic areas. If a mission is completed successfully, players will earn rewards including equipment, credits and experience.
