Absinthia is a card game from the Maeltopia series, designed by Luciano Balbi and released in 2009. The game is for 2-4 players and takes about 30 minutes to play. In the game, players are distillers attempting to create the perfect mix of absinthe. The game board is made up of 16 districts, with each player taking a different region to work with. Each district has seven cards representing different products that can be used to distill the absinthe, such as herbs and spices. Players take turns collecting one card from each district and a joker. They then place the cards in their ”mixing” board in an attempt to get the right combination. Once a combination has been achieved, the player can call it their own unique recipe and discard the remaining cards. The player with the most points after all cards have been used wins the game.Screenshot
